Neighborhood Hayride

Here are pictures from our neighbors house across the street, Don and Mirinda Thompson. They’ve got a little boy, Michael, who is only 4 months younger than Brett. Michael’s house is the bomb, he’s got a fish pond, a moon bounce, an electric jeep, and his dad gives out tractor rides.

Brett’s first field trip

If you can believe it, Brett went on his first field trip on Monday, October 17th. Yes, even the YMCA preschool takes children on field trips. 2-1/2 years old and traveling around with his classmates. He’s not quite yet grown up, because a parent needed to accompany (drive) the kids to the location. From what [...]

Luke & Noor

For the first time in three weeks, the kids played some soccer. Granted, it was a disgusting mess, but we did get two games in. Aunt Erin was in town and was hoping to watch the game, but played it smart and stayed at Grandmom Phil’s house. It would have been [...]

Ethan’s Birthday Party

Jake was at a birthday party Sunday, and it was a cool time. Our neighbor Ethan had a fishing party for his birthday at Center Point Pond. It was neat because it’s the only time I’ve been to a child’s birthday party where every child’s father was in attendance. Usually it’s the mom’s [...]

Basement is Done!

The carpet was put down Wednesday, and the basement is finished, sort of. The workers are out of the house, but Jean and I still have a lot of stuff to unpack and set up downstairs. We’re trying to keep everything organized, but the kids have started to lay claim to the area [...]
