We made a couple of changes to the house over the past few days. First, we ripped up the carpet in the dining room and had some oak hardwood floors put down. The second one was we had our faded green shutters and front door painted and the new color is Wineberry.

With the unbarable heat & humidity, the kids tried to make a couple dollars by opening up a lemonade stand on Thursday. Abby & Emily were pretty quick to realize that they could use Brett to snag some passerby’s. Profits were good for the day, and everyone had something to put in the piggybank.
